On the sacred evening of 24th September, the disciples and mentors of Swar Mohini Music Academy were blessed with the opportunity to offer Bhajan Seva in front of Devi Navdurga at the serene Vandurga Kshetra, Jain Heights. The atmosphere was soaked in bhakti and feminine divine energy, as melodies echoed through the temple grounds in devotion to the Goddess.
In our rich spiritual tradition, every girl is worshipped as a form of Devi—a living embodiment of power, purity, and grace. It is said that Mata Rani delights in shrungaar (adornment), music, and the presence of young girls, and this offering was a heartfelt tribute to her love for beauty and devotion.

Followed by the powerful and energizing rendition of "Aigiri Nandini", invoking the fierce and protective energy of Goddess Durga.The bhajan “Mata Kalika”, rendered soulfully by Guru Vidushi Mohini Joshi and Guru Bhagini Archana Joshi, set the tone for the musical seva, drawing in every listener into a state of surrender. The seva continued with deeply devotional renditions:
Deepali: gentle tone Tejas: grounded presence Shambhavi: voice of purity Khubi & Shuvi: youthful harmony Sumati: calm precision Shubhada: emotion & depth
This collective expression of devotion was not merely a performance—it was seva, offered at the feet of the Goddess with humility and gratitude. As a true blessing, the group received a heartfelt invitation to return for another round of seva.

SMMA students were blessed to begin the New Year with an inspiring early morning Riyaz session under the guidance of Vidushi Mohini Joshi.
Starting at 7:00 AM on 1st January, students tuned the tanpura and immersed themselves into 'Aakar', 'Omkar', and 'Humkaar'. Delving into mandra and madhya saptak, they explored Raaga Bhairav with intricate gamaks and concluded with the timeless Bandish ‘Jago Mohan Pyaarey’.
